A Mother’s Love

A Mother’s Love, there is no greater gift then that of being a parent. To be chosen to watch over someone, becoming intrusted in their growth and well being.God has chosen us wisely and with great care as to who this honor should be bestowed upon.It doesn’t matter if that gift was from a biological standpoint or not. If you are amongst the chosen one to nurture another being then guard that gift with your life. So many of us who have become parents are not fit enough to claim rights to that title. Today’s society has seen the destruction of so many of our children, our youth has been led down the wrong paths and feel there is no way of finding themselves out of that darkened place. There is a way, there is hope. You have to realize that you are your own person and though you have been led astray the righteous will find you and bring you back into the light. Parents love your children with a fierceness like never before. Show them right from wrong. Teach your children something other than how to go down the wrong roads. It becomes to late when life for them is no more. Why do we always want to shed tears when our own children who are reflections of us go astray. Why not grab ahold of them from infancy and teach them, mold them, show them that there is a better way.Love is a powerful thing. Parents stop showing your children that there is no hope. Strive to better yourself so that they can see and love the person that you are.The bible states in Exodus 20:12, ,”Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee;” and Ephesians 6:1-3, which says, “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.Yes children we are to honor and obey our parents. It does not state that we have to respect them but we do have to obey them. Parents when you nurture and feed your children mentally and spiritually then the respect will be automatic.
